Why Believe in God?
Reason #11
A creator gives our lives real meaning.
The world and its desires pass away, but the man
who does the will of God lives forever.

We are born. We grow older. We play as children. We go to school. We get jobs. We get married. We have children. We grow older. We work. We play. We work. We play. We grow older. We die.
What good reason was there for us to be born if we are just going to die? Why should we be moral upright people at all if this is all there is to life.
What prevents us from doing anything we want to do if we only have to worry about our few short years on earth.?
We must feel deep inside that there is some underlying purpose for us to be here - some mission to accomplish above and beyond selfish existence and propagation of our species. The creator of the Bible gives us that mission and a comforting hope for existence beyond this earthly life.
