Why Believe in God?

The Bible makes a rational statement about men - they worship things they can see and touch but that are dead and silent.
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator - who is forever praised. Amen.

How can scientists go to their graves with such great faith in unprovable theories about the beginning of time but not accept a spiritual world so much more rational than it is irrational? How can men cut a tree and use half for a fire and bow to the other half? How can we love such loveless things as money, houses, power, and sex; lusts that give no hope in this life or for any to come? What idea or created object or philosophy gives us a Hope like the Gospel?
