Why Believe in God?

There is an aspect of design we sometimes overlook - that being the plan. Our genes provide a plan for the construction of our bodies and all living things. It is conceivable that the progression of time would allow the appearance of organization in inanimate matter. But how could nature build the development plan into the organism, which is then passed on to its offspring? The Jewish philosopher/historian Philo stated that Creation is the Reasoning of God. Is that not more logical than Creation being the Reasoning of Creation?
