Why Believe in God?

Reason #30

Who is man that he can discern the pattern of heaven and earth?

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

"For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor?"

"Or who has first given to Him and it shall be repaid to Him?"

For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be

glory forever. Amen.

As far as man has come in discovering the secrets of this universe, he has not yet come to discern the basic building blocks of nature nor viewed but an insignificantly tiny piece of space. And the more we learn the more we see how inpossible it becomes to know much more than nothing at all. There are hidden, perhaps incomprehensible, depths to creation - who are we to know the mind of the Lord? Who has told him how to make a man? How can we possibly trace the paths of his passing? This cosmic construction is just too complex to figure out - much more the Originator.
